Google Maps Scraper Chrome Extension: Install, Search, Export
Install the BluTec Scout Chrome extension, search Google Maps by category and city, and export phone, website, and email to Excel.
A Google Maps scraper Chrome extension should do three things: read the listings in front of you, put them in a table, and download Excel. BluTec Scout does that in Chrome and Edge. Download it from the homepage. For a long list of cities, use the bulk scraper instead of clicking one search at a time.
The older extension vs web app note explains when to pick which. This page is the install path.
Install
Run one search
A useful first file has these columns:
| Name | Phone | Website | City | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| From the listing | From the listing | From the listing | From the business website | Your search |
Call five numbers before you extract the next city. If they are the wrong trade, change the keyword, not the tool.
When to switch to the web app
Use the extension while you are checking one area. Switch to the bulk scraper when you have 20 or more “category in city” lines from the keywords generator.
Emails that are not on the Maps card still come from the website. The email extractor page describes that step.
Export and follow up
Save the file, drop empty rows, then import. How to export Google Maps leads to Excel and CRM covers HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive column mapping.
